Avocado Cooler

Ingredients

  • ½ of a avocado
  • 3 pieces (1/2-in each) fresh ginger
  • Generous pinch of fresh cilantro
  • 1 ½  ounce cucumber-flavored vodka
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz agave nectar
  • 1 ¼  cups ice
  • Cilantro sprig, for garnish

Directions

On-the-rocks:

  1. Muddle avocado, ginger and cilantro in a cocktail shaker. Add vodka and remaining ingredients except garnishes; shake well with ice.
  2. Double strain drink over fresh ice; garnish with cilantro sprig. Note: To double strain a cocktail, you strain it through the cocktail strainer then through a mesh strainer.
  3. Use cilantro to garnish.

Frozen version:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender; cover and blend thoroughly until slushy.
  2. Use cilantro to garnish.

Yield: 1 serving
