Boston-area Seniors Share their Resolutions for the New Year

You’re never too old to make a positive change in the new year! We asked 10 residents of Senior Living Residences’ Independent, Assisted living &  Compass Memory Support communities what their New Year’s Resolutions are. Check out the fun words of wisdom and ageless advice they shared with us!

Cheers to a Happy Healthy New Year!

Esther from Armbrook Village in Westfield says, “To get more organized in the new year!”
Phyllis from Cape Cod Senior Residences says, “To enjoy my friends and enjoy every day.”
Sandy from Cape Cod Senior Residences in Bourne says, “To make new friends here at my community, at church, and other organizations I belong to. I learned in Girl Scouts, ‘Make new friends and keep the old, one is silver and the other gold.'”


Helene from Compass on the Bay in South Boston says, “I want to bring more peace back to the world, and to start traveling again to bring peace around the world.” A very fitting response considering her passion in her younger years was to teach meditation!
